Salary$9,230.00 – $12,369.00 per month (minimum salary granted to new to state candidates)
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Salesforce Architect to design and build a Grant Management Solution for Caltrans’ new Customer Success program for grantees. The incumbent will architect, develop, integrate, and maintain Salesforce implementations, working closely with the Division of Data and Digital Services and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Design and build Salesforce Grant Management systems, including customer success and case management workflows.
- Lead technical architecture for Salesforce solutions, ensuring integration with Mule Soft, API gateways, RESTful and SOAP services.
- Provide governance and development operations guidance on Salesforce implementations.
- Advise leadership on IT strategy, policy, and governance for Caltrans’ technology portfolio.
- Coordinate and integrate products within the division, documenting solutions and facilitating solution launches.
- Ensure user research, user‑centric design, testing, and implementation meet enterprise objectives.
- One year as an IT Specialist II or six years of IT experience with at least two years in a lead or expert capacity on complex systems.
- Strong experience designing and implementing Salesforce CRM, grants, or large‑scale enterprise solutions.
- Proficiency with Salesforce platforms (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud) and deep understanding of architecture, data modeling, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience with Mule Soft, RESTful/SOAP APIs, event‑driven architecture.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or other related certifications is a plus.
