Scope

of Work:

Capio Group is looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to provide IT Services for implementation of the client’s cloud‑based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, software licensing and maintenance, and optional post‑implementation services. The proposed solution is an enterprise‑level data system, to address current and future information needs. The client solution supports a secure system to intake documentation, certifications, compliance forms, and data from public water systems;

determine compliance; support staff and management through compliance evaluations, document generation, and record‑keeping; facilitate data‑driven decision‑making; and provide automated data publication. This role defines the Salesforce technical scope and works with the development team to size and design components and integrations.

As part of the team, the Salesforce Technical Architect will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the overall design and configuration of the Salesforce solution to meet the functions defined by the requirements and elicited business rules.
  • Configure the solution database to include client data fields.
  • Ensures the solution complies with information security standards, protocols, best practices, requirements, and all required applicable state security provisions.
  • Accountable for the client’s system architecture, technical design and technical implementation.
  • Responsible for defining and documenting network, security, and server specifications for the solution.
  • Provide recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions, including all technical documentation on the Contractor’s solution.
  • Monitor the development process and keep stakeholders, including senior architects and technical operations teams, informed in collaboration with the Lead Developer.
  • Establishes documentation and coding standards for the Project team and ensures the team adheres to the standards.
  • Is available to clients Project teams for consultation on future enhancements (e.g., changes to achieve strategic objectives, implement a new program).
  • Oversees the development of all technical documentation.
  • Maintains familiarity with the technical design of all the components, has a solution‑wide view and ensures each component/module works together to address the technical requirements.
  • Design, build, and test interfaces and data conversion.
  • Ensures & addresses all the functional and non‑functional requirements.
  • Works with Software Solutions Architect, Data Architect and Business Analyst to ensure adherence to requirements.
  • Establishes, maintains and documents the Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline.
  • Utilize the latest state‑of‑the‑art technologies as much as possible.
  • Provide technical leadership to an architecture team throughout the solution development, maintenance and operations services.
  • Review and validate solution design proposals from other teams as necessary.
  • Manage and communicate technical risks and mitigation options during solution development.
  • Develop detailed design documents, interface specifications, and performance and capacity test plans.
  • Architects and designs software modules to be implemented.
  • Applies higher‑level business or technical principles and methods to difficult technical problems to arrive at engineering solutions.
  • Designs and participates in the development of the abstraction layer.
  • Works with the State and other technical staff to conceptualize, design, and build interfaces between multiple entities.
