Position within the Procurement and STAR Support Section (PASS) performing consultative and analytical assignments in IT Goods and Services procurement.
Pay RangeThis range is provided by the California Department of Developmental Services. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Job Description & DutiesThe Analyst II performs a variety of tasks including consultative and analytical assignments in the areas of IT Goods and Services procurement. The Analyst II works independently, applies sound analytical techniques, and handles the most complex, technical, and sensitive assignments and requests with respect, understanding, tact, and professionalism. The Analyst II interacts positively with managers and staff at all levels and takes extra steps to provide quality services to internal and external customers.
Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of three percent in exchange for five hours per month of Personal Leave.

Working ConditionsUnder Government Code 14200 this position is a hybrid, in‑office/telework role and may be subject to change. The incumbent may be required to report to the office or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified or cancelled at any time. The position requires lawful authorization to work in the United States and does not sponsor employment visas.
Work is performed in an open‑space partitioned office environment. The incumbent uses a computer or laptop 75–85% of the time and may be required to travel occasionally to meetings at other state departments within the Sacramento area and other departmental facilities.

The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, and related conditions. Services are offered through state-operated developmental centers, community facilities, and contracts with 21 nonprofit regional centers.
