As an Advisor Data Analyst, you will contribute your skills to harness technology for improving the health and well‑being of Medicaid members in California. This key role within the Population Health Management (PHM) project involves developing and maintaining ad‑hoc reports and dashboards, and designing, developing, and validating analytics and delivery documentation for the PHM Service.
Your role in our mission- Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases, access methods, validation checks, documentation, and statistical methods to ensure client requirements are satisfied.
- Reviews and edits data requirements and documents to meet required standards using prescribed tools and methods.
- Provides overall monitoring of standards and procedures and suggests revisions when necessary.
- Applies data analysis or data modeling techniques to establish, modify, or maintain complex data structures and their associated components.
- Investigates and resolves significant technical matters within databases by analyzing and determining possible causes.
- Provides work direction and guidance to less experienced personnel on data structures and associated components.
- Provides training in data modeling techniques and incorporating them into information systems.
- Researches business objectives and data requirements to ensure databases meet client needs.
- Communicates with clients about data‑related discrepancies and other matters to ascertain information and correct errors.
- Six or more years of experience in programming or data analysis.
- Experience with data administration, repository management, database creation techniques, and data warehousing standards and tools.
- Experience in HEDIS, Health Quality, PHM, and other relevant areas.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Onsite work.
- Candidate must work in the PST time zone.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs and travel as required.

Pay range: $92,900.00 – $ per year (variable based on region, equity, skills, and experience).
