Data Modeler

Senior, hands‑on data modeler with strong communication skills.

• Hybrid work required. Local to Sacramento, CA preferred.
• Must live within 60 miles of location.
• Office days:
  Monday and Wednesday.

• ODI & ADW & OCI experience.
• State/Government experience required.
• Oracle certification.
• Minimum of ten (10) years in the data management space with at least 5 years specializing in database design.
• Minimum of five (5) years as a data analyst or in related disciplines.
• Minimum of five (5) years with ER/Studio data modeling application.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relational and dimensional data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• At least 2 years experience with Star, Snowflake, and/or Hybrid schemas.

• Perform business and systems analysis and documentation.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical relational data models for the enterprise data warehouse.
• Experience with large data warehouse implementation projects.
• Design and develop dimensional models and data facts and dimensions in the EDW.
• Document data flow diagrams and create requirements and design specifications.
• Perform data analysis and predictive data modeling.
• Mentor and educate team members on best practices and industry standards.

• At least 2 years experience working on Star, Snowflake, and/or Hybrid schemas.

• At least 2 years experience working on Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) installed in an OCI environment.
• Expert level Kimball Dimensional Data Modeling experience.
• Expert level experience developing in Oracle SQL Developer or ER/Studio Data Architect for Oracle.
• Experience performing ETL activities using Oracle tools and PLL SQL/SQL.
• Technical leadership of an Oracle data warehouse team including ETL, requirements solicitation, DBA, data warehouse administration, and data analysis on a hands‑on basis.
