The Business Data Analyst is a blend of User Experience, Business Analyst, and a Data Analyst with excellent documentation skills. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within our organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze data, and provide recommendations to drive strategic decision-making. The person is driven by empathy for the customer and ensures that we build user‑centered long‑lasting secured analytics solutions accessible to the relevant stakeholders and users.

• Requirements Gathering – Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders using interviews, workshops, surveys; create detailed specifications.
• Data Analysis – Strong SQL skills to analyze data from various sources, identify issues, trends, and opportunities; prepare data‑driven reports and presentations.
• Process Improvement – Identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, measure impact.
• Data Governance – Populate systems with metadata, ensure data quality and integrity.
• Project Management – Assist in defining scope, timelines, deliverables; track progress, mitigate risks.
• Stakeholder Management – Build relationships, manage expectations, facilitate communication.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience in data modeling, ETL development, data quality, and governance.
• Project management and leadership experience (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Previous Data Analyst and Business Analyst roles desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in data management, data science, computer science, information systems, or related field recommended.
• High school diploma or GED required;
  Valid driver’s license.
• Waste Management experience preferred.
