Overview

The Human Resources Analyst position is a confidential class and performs a variety of professional, technical, and analytical human resources duties and responsibilities in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration, exams, hiring and selection, classification, salary administration, equal employment opportunity (EEO), employee and labor relations, employee development, and personnel administration for Sacramento Area Sewer District (Sac Sewer).

Positions at this level exercise less independent discretion and judgment in matters related to work procedures and methods. Work is usually supervised while in progress and fits an established structure or pattern. As experience is gained, assignments become more varied and are performed with greater independence. May exercise direct supervision of lower-level human resource staff.
