We are seeking a new team member to support our continued growth. The ideal candidate will be skilled in facilitating training workshops and partnering with clients to develop thoughtful, effective solutions to professional and leadership development challenges.
Role SummaryThe Senior Leadership Consultant serves as a trusted partner to clients, facilitating leadership workshops, providing coaching and consulting with organizations to address complex leadership and organizational challenges primarily in public-sector and mission-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate leadership development workshops, cohorts, and retreats (virtual and in-person).
- Create psychologically safe, inclusive learning environments that support reflection, skill practice, and application.
- Adapt facilitation approach to meet the needs of diverse audiences, leadership levels, and organizational contexts.
- Collaborate with clients to customize learning experiences while maintaining instructional quality and consistency.
- Partner with client leaders to assess leadership, team, and organizational challenges.
- Support initiatives related to leadership development, team effectiveness, culture, and change.
- Translate organizational goals into practical interventions and recommendations.
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders navigating complexity, ambiguity, and public accountability.
- Provide individual and group coaching to executives, managers, and high-potential leaders in alignment with ICF core competencies and ethical standards.
- Partner with clients to establish coaching goals tied to leadership effectiveness, organizational priorities, and equity-informed outcomes.
- Conduct coaching engagements that may include 360 feedback, assessments, and stakeholder input.
- Maintain active ICF credential and participate in ongoing supervision and professional development.
- Build and sustain trusted client relationships through strong presence, credibility, and follow-through.
- Support engagement planning, scoping, and delivery in collaboration with internal teams.
- Serve as a point of contact for client communication related to assigned engagements.
- Contribute to the firm’s learning content, tools, and frameworks.
- Participate in internal learning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Active ICF credential (ACC, PCC or MCC) strongly preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in executive coaching, leadership development, or organizational consulting.
- Minimum of 2 years in a position managing people.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating professional development workshops.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and group dynamics.
- Experience working with public-sector, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
- Ability to navigate complex systems, sensitive topics, and diverse stakeholder perspectives.
Job Location:
The ideal candidate will reside in Northern California and be available for on-site work in either Sacramento or the Bay Area from 1-4 days per week.
The expected salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience.
