Position Summary

Support HR functions across multiple plants, link business objectives to organizational effectiveness, create labor relations, serve as a change agent, business partner and HR professional.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Travel required. Provide HR functions for multiple plants or locations.
  • Business partner to plant managers, ownership of HR initiatives at the plants.
  • Administration: manage headcount, turnover, exit interviews, HR invoices and job descriptions.
  • Associate learning & development: conduct orientation, training programs (DSDE, 2020 GB Leader, Diversity & Inclusion, Labor Relations, Safety). Provide training needs assessments.
  • Associate programs: administer annual benefits open enrollment, safety perception survey, pulse survey, and answer HR inquiries.
  • Associate relations: develop & implement positive programs, administer rewards & recognition.
  • Centralized recruiting: support recruiting for salaried and hourly positions, deliver onboarding program.
  • Talent acquisition: create & manage hourly staffing plan, manage recruitment cycle, interview salaried candidates when needed, compliance management.
  • Talent management: drive processes for associate profiles, goal setting, development plans, reviews, succession planning.
  • HR/organization consulting: engage in E4 behaviors, change management facilitation, organizational consulting, HR file maintenance (I-9, compliance).
  • Performance management: partner with people managers, set staffing, performance, safety, attendance actions; lead merit reviews.
  • Policy management: administer company policies, CBAs, personnel and employment law compliance, investigations, grievances, hearings.
  • Standard leader work: support manufacturing transformation.
  • Systems: manage monthly HRIS audits, requisitions, report HR metrics, recommend improvements.
  • Assist with all HR activities and other duties as needed.
  • Work as an individual contributor, partner with leadership.
Education And Work History
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years progressive HR generalist experience in manufacturing.
  • Labor relations experience highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to be coachable and trainable for cross‑training and development for future progression.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrated multi‑tasking and project management skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all organizational levels.
  • Resourceful, business‑acumen, creative thinking, decision maker.
