As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies in your local market. This is a full-cycle recruiting role. From sourcing to placement, you will run the entire recruiting process. You will spend your time engaging in conversations with job seekers by phone, email, or in person, and you will coach them through resume editing, interview preparation, and post-interview steps.
In time outside candidate search, you will meet with your team to discuss open positions, post advertisements for open jobs, and learn to use online sourcing tools and resources.
Responsibilities- Identify prospective candidates via job board search tools, Linked In, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking
- Interview prospective candidates
- Prepare candidates for interviews with client companies — review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews
- Deliver offers and manage the offer process for candidates
- Reach out to candidates who are on assignment to ensure they have everything they need
- Proactively cold call to identify prospective candidates and build a pipeline
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; the core activity is frequent communication and listening
- Interest in working with people and helping them achieve their goals
- Strong self-motivation and persistence; willingness to make numerous calls to achieve results
- Leadership potential and a competitive drive; willingness to work toward goals and measure success
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding businesses and people to meet client needs
- Goal-oriented with a drive to meet metrics and performance targets
