Field HR Generalist

Reporting to the Director of Field HR, the Sr. Field HR Generalist will provide hands‑on support and guidance for manufacturing plant employees and leaders across all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance and conflict management, investigations, company policy and legal compliance, coaching and training, workforce planning, disciplinary action and terminations, and accurate record‑keeping. Joining a distributed team of individual contributors, this is a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves, walk‑the‑floor position in which HR is a visible, welcoming, knowledgeable, and action‑oriented resource who identifies solutions and solves problems in ways that enhance both the employee experience and success of the business.

• Serve as primary, on‑site HR point of contact for employees and leaders at assigned manufacturing plant(s), providing answers to HR‑related questions and delivering proactive HR support.
• Effectively manage, investigate, document, and resolve employee concerns and complaints, working with leaders to ensure equitable, consistent, and compliant resolutions are reached in a timely manner.
• Advise, coach, train, and assist plant leaders in understanding and consistently applying company policies and practices, managing performance, and delivering disciplinary action and terminations.
• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for open plant roles including confirming job requirements, crafting job postings, executing sourcing strategies, screening resumes, scheduling and participating in interviews, and delivering positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.
• Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure accurate and seamless new hire onboarding, payroll processing, benefits enrollment, leave management, and HR data maintenance and reporting.
• Participate in the design and implementation of HR programs and initiatives and identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in HR processes.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated experience providing hands‑on, customer‑service oriented, and proactive HR or related support in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar front‑line driven environment.
• Working knowledge and awareness of various HR subject matter areas, best practices, and current applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Paycom or similar HRIS/Payroll systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in fluent English required; bilingual fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish also required.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, change‑oriented environment, effectively managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and stakeholders.
