Overnight Assistant Operations Manager

Overview

The Overnight Assistant Operations Manager will function as acting Manager on Duty during the nighttime. This manager will be supporting hotel operations including Front Office, Valet, Engineering and Security. The Overnight Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for addressing any guest and colleague concerns. This position will be working closely together with multiple divisions of the hotel, and must maintain a high level of communication with the team.

This position will be reporting to our Front Office Manager. This position may also be responsible for covering overnight shifts for Night Audit as needed.

• Maintain professional and healthy relationships with all departments within the hotel
• Assist in covering rest and meal breaks for overnight staff
• Respond to a variety of guest and colleague requests
• Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, periodically as needed.
• Lead by example and with a sense of ownership
• Quickly correct safety concerns and ensure guest and colleague safety
• Address any guest concerns while ensuring the proper follow up is delivered
• Lead the effort for colleague engagement during our night shifts

The hourly wage for this position is $29.00.

• 2 years of Front Office Experience
• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience (preferred)
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of computers and systems.
• Successful problem-solving skills.
• Excellent overall communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• The ability to work well in a team environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Open availability including weekends.
