Located adjacent to the Sacramento Convention Center, our venues are designed for impactful meetings. We can host functions in more than 27,000 square feet and four venue types, with advanced audiovisual support and catering services.

The Bar Attendant is responsible primarily for ensuring the bars are fully stocked. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift a moderate amount of weight and will be required to be on their feet for extended periods of time. The employee may perform other related tasks as required. This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bar Support:
  • Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks, including garnishes, mixers, and glassware.
  • Refill ice bins, stock supplies, and replenish beverage ingredients as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of bar tools and equipment.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Clean and sanitize bar areas, including countertops, sinks, and floors.
  • Wash and store glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Ensure that the bar area is organized and free of clutter at all times.
• Customer Service:
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, assisting with their needs and requests.
  • Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth bar operations.
• Health and Safety:
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling and storing food and beverage items.
• Work closely with the bar team to support daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist with training new bar staff and provide guidance as needed.

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $18.89 per hour.
