Overview
Are you looking for your new career? Assurance Home Care is now hiring a Home Health Liaison/Director of Business Development (DBD) to be the newest member of our awesome team! This position services Sacramento and surrounding communities.
Salary Range: $95k-110k per year DOE

Responsibilities- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the home health program's marketing and public relations programs and activities to maintain and increase patient census.
- Provide the community with information relative to our home health program, its programs, services, practices, and promote the home health program and its services to outside sources such as physicians, discharge planners, business members of the community, churches and schools providing adult education.
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to conduct tours for members of the community as well as families, and conduct pre-admission interviews with prospective patient/guarantors and explain all services of the nursing home health program.
- Must Haves
- Thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, community relations, etc., as they relate to home health program operations
- Ability to make direct sales calls, and to organize and deliver public presentations
- Ability to establish, implement and maintain effective marketing and public relations program
- Thorough understanding of healthcare reimbursement programs
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to home health
- Nice To Have
- 2-4 years’ experience in marketing/public relations in health care, home health or hospice program with previous experience
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college with specialization in marketing, communications or equivalent
- Experience with gaining contracts is a PLUS!
