Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opening for a Patient Access Representative to join our team.
This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $39.36/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Responsibilities- The Patient Access Representative is the first person that our patients and caregivers will have the opportunity to interact with.
- Provide support to patients as they experience life changing events by scheduling appointments, performing pre-registration and registration of new and existing patients.
- Provide patients with information regarding access to additional external financial resources.
- Support patients with scheduling and questions for the provider(s).
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory agencies by obtaining various consents.
- May be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

High School diploma required - Experience:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
