Position: PROGRAM MANAGER - COMMUNITY DAY SERVICES

Overview

WORK HOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY - (7:30AM-3:30PM)

40 HOURS PER WEEK

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field is required
  • QIDP Certified preferred
  • At Least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • At least 18 years of age
  • No disqualifying events on criminal background check
  • No disqualifying events on Health Care Registry
  • Pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test

    Basic Function

    BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the effective running of the program, directing the CDS team to provide community-based learning opportunities to explore community, life skills and social skills.

    Essential Functions

    THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE EMPLOYEE TO BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM THE FOLLOWING:

    • Provide guidance and supervision to staff for program efficiency.
    • Demonstrate leadership to those supervised
    • Schedule and manage task assignments.
    • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrate budget development skills
    • Promote teamwork.
    • Demonstrate organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Maintain state compliance with funding sources
    • Understand written and oral English Language
    • Stand, sit, walk, reach, grip, bend and lift as assessed by job analysis screening
    • Remain free of alcohol and/or illegal substance use while working.
    • Become CPR/1st Aid certified and remain certified throughout employment
