BACS is excited to be hiring for a Licensed Program Manager - LCSW/LMFT/LPCC in Sacramento for our CEDAR program to oversee our outpatient CORE (Community Outreach Recovery Empowerment) program. The program is integrated for people experiencing housing insecurity and behavioral health challenges. At our CORE in Sacramento, every door is the right door when you come to us, so clients who are requesting assistance with housing, employment, behavioral health, food, healthcare, and more are all welcome and will find the support they need at our neighborhood hubs.
The Program Manager position will manage administrative, fiscal, and quality improvement functions that promote the highest standard of service provision. BACS staff work to stabilize, de-escalate and provide appropriate linkages, with work happening both in the office and in the community. This role requires someone who can empower a team to build accountability, trust, and innovation.
Responsibilities- Oversees program that provides clinical case management to a diverse population with severe mental health impairment and possible co-occurring conditions.
- Meet clients where they are to implement consumer-centered services that are needs-driven, strengths-based, and culturally relevant.
- Manage the flow of referrals, intakes, and discharges of participants and ensure accessibility and welcoming of all people.
- Be an available and engaged manager, supervise staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Provide individual and group supervision to interns collecting clinical experience and hours.
- Continuously pursue opportunities for quality improvement and implement systems for CQI.
- Ensure services are provided in compliance with all funders, including documentation, grant management, presentations, and reports.
- Communicate effectively and conscientiously utilizing strength-based language and philosophy throughout all aspects of program management and supervision.
- Program Manager: LCSW/LMFT/PsyD + 2 years post licensure.
- Two years’ experience post-licensure in a behavioral science field.
- Three years of progressive administrative, direct service, and leadership skills and experience in the social service field.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal.
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal billing criteria and documentation requirements.
- Valid California driver’s license, personal vehicle, and proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage. DMV printout required.
- Competitive salary $170,000 annually, exempt.

- Clinical supervision hours towards licensure.
