About this Role

The Population Health Management Division (PHMD) plays a pivotal role in designing and driving the implementation of DHCS s CalAIM initiative. PHMD is part of DHCS  Quality and Population Health Management Program (QPHM) and operates as a startup within DHCS. PHMD is recruiting an Analyst II to serve as a team member on the Population Health Management (PHM) Policy Section, responsible for PHM policy development, implementation, and monitoring.

The Analyst II will ensure high-quality program administration; lead and manage assigned work streams and projects, collaborate internally and externally; and manage division-wide work products and responses to requests, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables. The Analyst II will use quantitative and qualitative data to monitor and improve PHM policy to achieve CalAIM goals, enable DHCS  managed care partners to implement PHM policy with fidelity, and support the development and implementation of Medi-Cal Connect, a statewide data platform that enables DHCS and managed care partners to monitor progress toward quality goals and outcomes.
