At UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital, we are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services for patients and families. Our 52-bed acute rehabilitation facility offers personalized treatment for individuals who are recovering from a severe injury or illness so that each patient feels comfortable and supported throughout their care journey.
Our programs offer customized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation or orthopedic injury.
What You ll Contribute- Assist and coordinate intake and pre-admission screening process.
- Perform on-site clinical judgment (typically in referring facility) to determine appropriateness of patient for admission.
- Communicates to patients and families rehabilitation and facility options; informs patients determined appropriate for admission of expectations and requirements for participation.
- Secures information relating to patients resources and benefits.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth, development, and the aging process for planning and delivering age-appropriate care.
- Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planning personnel with payors and hospital facilities.
- Completes face-to-face, in-service education contacts to physicians, case managers, and other professionals.
- Inform and educate physicians, case managers, and other decision makers about the Hospital and acute rehabilitation services.
- Performs market analysis, market research and development.

Education: Bachelor s degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current clinical licensure required (e.g., RN, PT, OT, SLP, SW) per state requirements.
Experience: Prior marketing/sales experience preferred; prior clinical experience with demonstrated assessment skills and EMR proficiency preferred; formal sales training preferred.
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, customer relationship building, sound clinical judgment, organization/time-management, and basic computer/data-entry proficiency.
