Strategies to Empower People is hiring full‑time Behavioral & Medical Support Staff (Enhanced Direct Support Professional) to provide in‑home and community support to adults with developmental disabilities who require a high level of behavioral and/or medical supports.

As one‑on‑one support staff, you will assist a client with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping them manage daily activities such as eating, cleaning, bathing, and toileting while ensuring they remain active participants. You will provide assessment and behavioral intervention and apply training specific to each client, in addition to general Pro‑Act intervention training.

Schedules are set and consistent to help you plan your life. Clients require 24/7 care, but we offer a variety of full‑time schedules. Availability will be discussed during interviews. Hourly pay ranges from $23–$27, depending on experience with behavioral supports.

Support is delivered in the Greater Sacramento area, in the client’s home or community. The position is flexible and requires travel to where the client prefers to live and engage.

• At least six months of verifiable experience with people who have regular behavioral and/or medical challenges (more experience may justify a higher wage).
• Valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.

Salary: $23–$27 per hour.
