Lecturer Pool – Allied Health Science.
- Instruction of courses in Health Science as assigned.
- Preparation of course material and grading.
- Holding office hours for students.
- Participation in departmental meetings; other duties as assigned.
- Class assignments, dates, time, and modality determined by the Department Chair.
- Required: Master’s Degree in Health Science, Public Health or related field.
- Preferred: Doctorate or equivalent in Health Science, Public Health or related field.
- At least one year of college teaching experience.
- Professional experience in Public Health, Health Education or a related Allied Health Profession.
- Knowledge of health‑related career paths, research reading & writing, social and natural influences on health, behavioral health factors, personality‑health relationships, aging and longevity, development of health problems, role of emotions in immune function, physiological foundations of health psychology.
Initial rank and salary are based on experience and education.
- Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677
- Lecturer B: $6,221 – $13,224
- Lecturer C: $6,825 – $14,523
- Lecturer D: $8,593 – $15,211
Salary is calculated on a full‑time rate (15 weighted teaching units). Part‑time appointments typically cover 3 units, prorated accordingly.
