Analyst I – California State Prison, Sacramento (CSP SAC)
Location: Repsa, CA (Sacramento County)
Effective date: July 1, 2025
Position type:
Limited‑Term (12 months, may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent).
The Person al Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) applies: full‑time staff salary reduced by 3 % with 5 hours/month PLP 2025 leave credits through June 2027.
- Perform less complex analytical work evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining institutional compliance with federal court mandates, federal and state regulations, and department policies.
- Prepare reports and correspondence; collect and track data on program access for patients with disabilities.
- Monitor tracking systems, analyze findings, and make recommendations to management to improve program delivery.
- Support the institution’s mission by providing accurate analytics and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Four years’ work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer‑service duties.
- Academic education from an accredited college or university may substitute experience on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Within six months of satisfying the experience requirement interview eligibility; must fully meet experience requirement for appointment.
- Must complete and pass the Cal Careers examination to be eligible for appointment.
