This position is located in the California Justice Information Services Division, Application Development Bureau, Firearms & Enterprise Systems Branch, Managed Applications Services Section, Firearms Software Development Unit.

Personal Leave Program:

The specific rate and hours earned were negotiated and agreed upon by each bargaining unit. Additional Salary Information
Please note that this classification contains multiple salary ranges. New-to-State employees will be given the minimum salary of Range A, unless you meet Alternate Range Criteria 484. For current state employees and/or those with reinstatement rights, your salary will be determined in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Alternate Range Criteria 484Established 1/31/18, Pay Letters 18-04 and 18-05
A. This range shall apply to persons who do not meet the criteria for Range B or Range
C.
B. This range shall apply to persons who meet the Minimum Qualifications for the classification and who have also completed two years of satisfactory additional experience performing duties equivalent to or higher than an Information Technology Specialist I.
C. This range shall apply to persons who meet the Minimum Qualifications for the classification and who have also completed four years of satisfactory additional experience performing duties equivalent to or higher than an Information Technology Specialist I.
When the requirements for the criteria are met and upon recommendation of the appointing power, the employee shall receive a rate under the provisions of California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 599.676. Upon movement to Range C, the employee shall receive a rate under the provisions of California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 599.674 shall apply.
