Note:

New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.

• Performs analytical staff work related to complaints, citations and fines, and investigations of dentists and dental auxiliaries for the Complaint & Compliance Unit (CCU) within the Enforcement Division.
• Provides oral and/or written translation of English and Spanish language (minimum 10 percent of the time) while performing duties.

Candidates residing outside California may be admitted to the interview but must reside in California once hired. Hybrid telework is available; office location is Sacramento County.

• Fluency in Spanish is required; if not documented, a language fluency test may be required prior to hire.
• Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) checks are required; fingerprints will be submitted to the Department of Justice and clearance maintained during employment. The role may involve handling sensitive and confidential materials.
