Working Title: Airspace and Wireless Leasing Liaison
Salary: $8,678.00 - $10,783.00 per month. New-to-state candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or at the minimum of the alternate range when applicable.
Location: 1120 N Street, Sacramento, Sacramento County
Work Hours / Telework: 12‑month limited‑term, full‑time position. May be eligible for telework on an as‑needed basis. Employees are expected to report to the Sacramento HQ office unless otherwise directed.

Responsibilities- Act as a Region/District Liaison for the Airspace and Wireless Leasing function, providing guidance and assistance to Regions/Districts on functional issues with potential statewide impacts.
- Participate in policy development and management of the Department's Airspace and Wireless Leasing activities, including researching statutory requirements, tracking resources, collecting, analyzing, and communicating data.
- Support planning and presentation of Airspace and Wireless Leasing projects.
- Support the Headquarters Office Chief for Airspace in the planning and execution of cross‑department initiatives.
- Verification of minimum qualifications as specified in the class specification will occur prior to interview and/or appointment.
- Possession of qualifications based on education, license, or certificate is required; applicants must submit official or unofficial transcripts or diplomas as appropriate.
- Valid driver’s license required when operating a State‑owned or leased vehicle.
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Failure to submit an SOQ will disqualify candidates.
- SOQ (2 page maximum, 12‑point font):
- Describe your knowledge in developing standards and guidelines for work‑related functions.
- Describe your knowledge of Federal and State laws as it pertains to Property Management for Caltrans properties.
