Job Description And Duties
The Field Representative (FR) is part of a team that provides business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch. The FR provides coordination between Department of Justice (DOJ) services and criminal justice agencies helping to identify and resolve reporting and processing problems, assess efficiency of interfaces, and provide pertinent information affecting services. The FR analyzes problems and develops solutions;
conducts analytical studies and makes recommendations to departmental management in such areas as program evaluation and planning, policy interpretation and system development. The FR plans and conducts training programs for criminal justice agency personnel in data reporting procedures and requirements. The FR writes reports and correspondences; and may act as lead and coordinate the work of others. The FR independently performs varied field support assignments including, but not limited to, traveling to and interacting with law enforcement agencies;
representing the department at meetings; training criminal justice agencies as needed; and staying abreast of current and new DOJ service offerings.
