Overview
DIR is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join the Office of Legislative & Regulatory Affairs (OLRA). Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs the more complex and varied duties for the Office of the Director, Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Unit.
Responsibilities- Monitor, track, review, and analyze rule making packages across all DIR Divisions and Units.
- Prepare reports and brief management on the progress of rule making packages.
- Attend public hearings, advisory committees, and other meetings discussing rule making activities.
- Work with staff within DIR and at other agencies to file rule making packages.

Working ConditionsThe office is located at the newly renovated Labor Agency Headquarters in downtown Sacramento, at 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. The incumbent works 40 hours per week. This position is eligible for remote-centered hybrid telework up to three days per week; the other two days per week are in the Sacramento office. The office location is in a high-rise building with air conditioning.
The cubicles have natural and artificial lighting. The incumbent is regularly required to communicate effectively. The position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position and to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
