The Return Analysis Unit (RAU) Work Processes Are Production Oriented So You Will Immediately Recognize The Results Of Your Hard Work. The Position Will Challenge Your Organizational, Communication, And Customer Service Skills. The Business Taxes Representative (BTR) Will Learn All Facets Of The Analysis Activities Within The RAU, Including All Processes Involving:
- Analyzing tax returns.
- Reviewing taxpayer correspondence and corresponding with taxpayers and team members through verbal and written communication.
- Establishing liabilities for additional tax, interest, and penalties.
- Performing return and payment maintenance.
- Processing relief from penalty cases.
- Answering customer service calls.
- Issuing refunds.
