Overview

Join a dynamic HVAC manufacturing and distribution company committed to operational excellence and growth. This role is critical for enhancing financial operations, improving reporting efficiency, and implementing automation within the accounting processes.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring process compliance and continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, targeting completion by the 10th of each following month.
• Establish and implement robust systems and controls, with a focus on automating high-volume accounts payable processes.
• Provide proactive financial oversight to maintain real-time, reliable financial data.
• Collaborate effectively with external CPAs to enhance accounting functions.
• Work within a hybrid model, occasionally attending the Sacramento office for team collaboration and accountability.

• Experience with Quick Books Enterprise is essential.
• Proven track record in managing accounting functions, preferably within a private firm setting.
• Strong detail orientation, with the ability to implement systems and guardrails effectively.
• Conversational and proactive, capable of driving change and improvement within the team.
• Comfortable with a hybrid work model, with occasional in-office work required.
• Preference for candidates with experience in firms with a revenue size not exceeding $250 million.
