ResponsibilitiesUnder direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Analyst II performs technical personnel and payroll transactions functions related to temporary leaves including:
- Worker's Compensation, Non-Industrial Disability (NDI), Non-Industrial Family Care Leave (NDI-FCL), State Disability Insurance (SDI), Paid Family Leave (PFL), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and Catastrophic Leave.
- Develop and conduct training to Transactions team members.
- Assess, review, evaluate, and develop policies, procedures, and processes related to the HR Transactions Temporary Leave Unit.
- Develop departmental memorandums to communicate policy changes from control agencies.
- Conduct various Transactions Temporary Leave audits.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications stated in the classification specification and be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility.
