The Officer position will support and oversee the cash administration and accounting processing for limited partnership clients that invest in alternative investments (Private Equity, Real Estate, Natural Resources, and Hedge Funds) serviced by the AIAS Team.
Responsibilities- Training junior staff that will support these clients, including detailed hands‑on processing on the MCH accounting platform, the eCFM system, and Alpha Frontier.
- Creating timelines and overseeing client deliverables to ensure all final internal handoffs are completed.
- Performing quality control checks so that junior team members book all transactions correctly.
- Working closely with clients to assist with inquiries.
- Helping junior staff convert new and existing clients and transition them into our standard LPS operating model.
- Providing mentorship and oversight to junior associates on the team.
- BA/BS in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- 3‑5 years of related experience.
- Private Equity/Alternative Investments exposure is a plus.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and service‑oriented skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team‑based environment.
- Ability to work in various web‑based applications, MS Excel, and MS Access.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
