Our Sacramento, California office of Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Intern to join our multi‑disciplinary team of water resources professionals, each committed to delivering sound and strategic consulting services to a range of local, regional, state, and federal clients. YourKey Responsibilities
- Participate in multi‑disciplinary teams on water resources planning projects throughout California and the western U.S.
- Gain and apply experience in California water resources including surface water, groundwater, and recycled water supplies; river systems; water‑related infrastructure; applicable laws/policies/regulations/guidelines; and understanding of operations of major water systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, project engineers and staff, clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
- Assist technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations.
- Perform project administration including preparation of reports, gathering of information, writing proposals and correspondence, and completing progress reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
