Mechanical Construction Project Engineer
Build what matters.
There are buildings.
And then there are systems that make them breathe.
We’re looking for a Mechanical Construction Project Engineer with 2+ years of experience who understands that HVAC, piping, and plumbing aren’t just scopes — they’re the backbone of performance. This is not a clipboard role. This is a role for someone who wants to be in the arena.
If you’ve been in the field, supported a Project Manager, wrestled with submittals, tracked RFIs, and learned how jobs really get built — keep reading.
What You’ll Do- Manage RFIs, submittals, and procurement logs with precision.
- Support scheduling and coordination with trades and general contractors.
- Track change orders and cost impacts before they become problems.
- Attend coordination meetings and represent the mechanical scope with confidence.
- Assist in buyout, vendor communication, and equipment procurement.
- Help keep projects on schedule, on budget, and out of trouble.
You’ll learn how projects are actually won and delivered — not just how they look on paper.
What You Bring- 2+ years in mechanical construction (HVAC, piping, plumbing, or MEP).
- Exposure to commercial or industrial projects.
- Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
- Ability to read plans and ask smart questions.

- A bias toward action.
A construction management or engineering degree helps. Grit matters more.
What This Role Is (And Isn’t)This is a proving ground.
It’s For Someone Who Wants To Become- A Project Manager.
- A Senior PM.
- A Leader in Mechanical Construction.
You won’t be micromanaged.
You will be expected to think.
You will be trusted with responsibility — and held accountable for it.
The OpportunityYou’ll work alongside experienced PMs and Superintendents who know how to build. You’ll see how decisions are made. You’ll learn how margins are protected. You’ll understand how coordination wins jobs.
And if you’re good — really good — you won’t stay a Project Engineer for long.
If you’re ready to stop observing construction and start shaping it, let’s talk.
Compensation- Base Salary up to $90K
- Medical, Dental, Vision
- 401k
