AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Rail/Transit Project Lead – Program Delivery in Sacramento, CA.
Responsibilities- Support the development and execution of significant rail/transit projects including light rail, heavy rail subway, commuter rail, high-speed rail, and bus rapid transit surface, aerial or underground project pursuits and delivery (traditional and alternative).
- Provide technical expertise within an alternative delivery environment to client procurements, evaluations and selection processes on mega-rail/transit programs.
- Day-to-day delivery of assigned client projects from initial contract negotiations to final commissioning, start-up, and handover.
- Work with external contractors/consultants, other divisions/regions, and interact directly with major clients.
- Coordinate procurement-related actions and deliverables on behalf of the procurement team.
- Assist in the development of key procurement-related documents.
- Participate in the development of contract negotiation, governance, and management strategies to minimize corporate liability and risk throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
- 10% domestic travel to the following California counties required:
Merced County, Tulare County, Madera County, Fresno County, Kern County, and Kings County. - Full-time.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field of study and 7 years of experience as a Rail/Transit Project Manager, Program Manager, or related occupation.
Position requires:
- Full lifestyle and delivery of Alternative Delivery Methodologies of mega complex Rail/Transit projects
- Full lifecycle and delivery of AFP P3 (Public Private Partnership) from contract initiation and procurement, to implementation, testing, commissioning, handover, and dispute resolution of mega complex Rail/Transit projects
- Completing dispute resolution of large complex Rail/Transit projects, including Mediations and Arbitrations
- Developing RFQ, RFP, and contract documents
- Implementing mega complex Alternative delivery methodologies including design build finance, Progressive design build, and P3 contracts
- Managing complex Rail/Transit projects as a representative of the client
- Managing the public procurement of large complex Rail/Transit projects
- Managing early works projects in mega complex Rail/Transit projects
- Managing various agreements, including municipal agreements, master agreements, railroad agreements, utility agreements, P3, and Design Builds

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $130300 to $241055.
