Infinium is seeking a Project Development Manager to lead the full lifecycle of project development activities for Infinium eFuels. This hands‑on role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys managing all facets of project development—from opportunity identification through permitting, contracting, and execution readiness. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with a strong bias toward action and has experience working across technical, commercial, and regulatory dimensions of complex infrastructure projects.

Infinium headquarters in Sacramento, California

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate project opportunities, including site evaluation, feedstock evaluation, and technical feasibility.
  • Manage all aspects of project development, including site diligence, permitting, interconnection, land acquisition, environmental diligence, and commercial structuring.
  • Lead all permitting and entitlement processes at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Manage interconnection applications and engage with utilities or transmission operators.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements including feedstock contracting, land leases, interconnection documents, and basic offtake or supply terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across engineering, finance, operations, and legal to progress projects through key development milestones.
  • Coordinate directly with third‑party consultants (e.g., engineering, legal, environmental, regulatory) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments, and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare internal investment materials, permitting filings, and presentation materials for reviews and approvals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects through development completion.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of direct experience in project development within renewable energy, low‑carbon fuels, chemicals, or related industrial or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven ability to independently manage development activities across technical, commercial, and regulatory work streams.
  • Familiarity with U.S. permitting and regulatory processes (e.g., CEQA/NEPA, state energy offices, local zoning).
  • Strong working knowledge of interconnection, land acquisition, and infrastructure contracting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision and able to move projects forward proactively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project development (typically ~10%).
