* * is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer to be based in Sacramento, California. This role will support a wide variety of water projects with a special emphasis on dams and levees.

* Job Responsibilities:
**+ Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.+ Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.+ Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.+ Leads technical business development work.+ Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.+ Approves and signs off on work.+ Leader in one or more areas of technology.+
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects

* Minimum Requirements:
**+ Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education+ Active California PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.

* Preferred Qualifications:
**+ 12+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience+ Experience performing geotechnical civil design for levees and dams projects+ PSE package creation+ Project Management Experience+ Geotechnical engineering background
