Sr. Design Technician

• Design electrical systems for overhead and underground utility projects, including creating detailed construction drawings and accurate bills of materials.
• Provide supporting documentation such as pole force loading calculations, voltage drop calculations, and permitting requirements as needed.
• Perform field visits to inspect infrastructure and ensure the accuracy of designs.
• Support pre-construction activities, answering questions related to the job site and design.

• 3+ years of experience in overhead or underground electrical distribution design
• Working knowledge of SAP and O-Calc (AUD experience strongly preferred)
• Ability to travel up to 20% for hybrid work expectations (local travel only)
• QA/QC Design Review

• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools is a plus.
• Associates Degree In a technical related field

• This position pays between $30 and $34 hourly and is an exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  
  Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
