Associate Civil Engineer

Sacramento Area Sewer District (Sac Sewer) is currently accepting applications for multiple Associate Civil Engineer positions. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

Associate Civil Engineers are responsible for a variety of civil engineering work related to the design, surveying, testing of materials, and construction of public works projects. These projects include, but are not limited to, drainage, water and wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment, new building construction, remodels, and other structures for Sac Sewer.

This is the entry level in the civil engineering series requiring registration as a civil engineer. Under supervision, an Associate Civil Engineer performs complex engineering tasks and may supervise a small team of engineers and paraprofessionals. They may serve as project or resident engineers on major or multiple minor projects.

Current registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required.
