MBK Engineers is seeking a motivated individual to join the firm. The primary duties of this position consist of:
- Consulting, design, construction management, and project/program management of flood control improvement and maintenance projects for clients in the California Central Valley;
- Developing strong analytical skills and growing knowledge of California flood control systems, reclamation district clients, and relevant policy and legislation;
- Assisting in project designs (plans, specifications, technical memos, cost estimates), engineering studies, construction documents and engineering calculations, and providing client support for various funding programs;
- Developing and assisting clients to comply with changing flood control operations and maintenance standards, in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary team;
- Preparing detailed written memoranda and reports on technical assignments and presenting technical information to peers and clients, representing MBK and clients on multiple levels.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil, agricultural, environmental, or water resources engineering, hydrology, or a related field and one year of experience in related fields. Prior experience with multi-faceted teams, public speaking, fieldwork and flood control in California are desirable.

The annual salary for this position depends on experience: the range is: $75,524 to $118,768
