Sacramento Area Sewer District (Sac Sewer) is currently accepting applications for a Senior Civil Engineer position. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

Senior Civil Engineersare responsible for a variety of civil engineering work for Sacramento Area Sewer District (Sac Sewer) in connection with the design, surveying, testing of materials and construction of public works projects. Public works projects include but are not limited to drainage, water and wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment, new building construction and remodels, and other structures and projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.
ANDThree years of full-time experience as a registered engineer performing duties which have included difficult and complex civil engineering projects with responsibilities comparable to those of a project, resident, or operations engineer for public works projects. Experience to be applied must be comparable to that of an Associate Civil Engineer within Sacramento Area Sewer District service. Two years of this experience shall be in the option being tested.
Note:
A master’s degree in the option being tested may be substituted for one year of experience.
