Program Manager II – Responsibilities
  • Define program/project objectives, create and maintain program plan/schedule, and directly manage program budget to meet established company and customer objectives.
  • Issue project instructions and control changes to project scope and designs in compliance with established quality system.
  • Ensure that the program/project team achieves objectives for scheduling, engineering, quality, and cost control.
  • Break work down into manageable tasks required to meet the objectives of the program/project and customer, which includes assigning and/or directing the work of others.
  • Ensure satisfaction of all contractual and SOW requirements.
  • Establish a risk management program and ensure all risks are mitigated.
  • Report program status and performance, as required by contract or management.
  • Interface with the customer and other company personnel on technical, production, and procurement issues.
  • Coordinate cost estimates (labor & material) associated with out of scope activities or future work.
  • Responsible for managing root cause analysis efforts on nonconforming product for assigned projects; troubleshoot problems with production and take corrective action.
  • Keep customers informed of program schedules and status.
  • Compile, store, and retrieve production data, using computer.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings as required to plan and communicate all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Work with other internal departments to develop a resource allocation plan.
  • Establish the earned value baseline.
  • Establish and monitor program metrics.
  • Grow existing programs to increase revenues.
  • Monitor program performance, formulate and take corrective actions to mitigate deviations to the program plans and alert management of potential problems when necessary.
  • Coordinate with multiple major contractors and/or Government users.
  • Support subcontractor development efforts, including delivery management.
  • Work within the company to ensure program quality assurance performance.
  • Manage the integration and testing of hardware and software.
  • Work with other internal program managers to help develop a mutual resource allocation plan.
  • Work with contracts personnel to identify out of scope activities and ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Oversee the receipt, assembly, test, and quality of deliverable hardware to customers.
  • Follow safety precautions.
  • Communicate and represent the Company professionally with all levels of internal and external personnel.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility

May have supervisory responsibility for support staff as assigned.

Compensation

$100,000 - $130,000 annually
