Department & Position Details- Department: Marketing & Supply Chain Management
- Position Title: 2026-27 AY Lecturer Pool – Marketing & Supply Chain Management
- Appointment: Part‑time instructional faculty, conditional appointments based on enrollment and budget. Initial appointments typically for one semester, sometimes academic year. Renewals depend on department needs, funding, and performance.
- Instruct courses in the BS/BA and MBA programs.
- Prepare classes, grade assignments, and hold 45 minutes per week of office hours per 3‑unit course.
- Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.
- Course assignments (dates, times, modality) decided by the Department Chair.
- MBA or equivalent, or JD for law‑related courses.
- Availability to teach and hold face‑to‑face office hours.
- Degree from an AACSB accredited institution.
- Five years related work experience.
Initial rank and salary are based on experience and education, most new lecturers hired at Lecturer A or B rank. As of July 2024, salary ranges (full‑time rate 15 weighted teaching units) are:
- Lecturer A: $5,507–$6,677
- Lecturer B: $6,221–$13,224
- Lecturer C: $6,825–$14,523
- Lecturer D: $8,593–$15,211
- Applications for the 2026-27 academic year must be received by February 2, 2026.
- Complete a separate application for each department considered.
- Submit a CV/Resume with detailed descriptions of teaching‑related duties; no just titles.
- Provide cover letter listing courses of interest, unofficial transcripts of highest degree, and a list of references.
- If applicable, indicate prior teaching at Sac State in last academic year.
