Under the guidance of the Principal, the teacher will support non-native English speakers by creating lesson plans to improve reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. The role involves designing, implementing, monitoring, and assessing instructional programs, teaching English language fundamentals, and integrating basic math, science, history, and civics education.

Additional responsibilities include career development and parenting skills, tailoring training methods to diverse backgrounds, providing academic and life guidance, preparing materials, conducting assessments, participating in testing initiatives, and engaging with the community. Ongoing professional development, collaboration with peers, and contribution to school activities are essential.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Multiple subject credentials or a single subject credential for K-12 (adult teaching credentials are not acceptable)
• 2+ years of experience in education or related volunteer work (teacher, tutor, substitute)
• Strong communication skills with diverse populations
