The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position. Adjunct positions are filled as needed through ongoing recruitment, and applicants are contacted and hired year-round based on college needs.
Applicants will remain active in this pool for two years. After that, they will receive an email with instructions on how to remain in the pool.
The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for teaching assigned classes, helping students achieve their potential, assessing learning outcomes, maintaining current knowledge in their field, participating in professional development, and other duties as assigned by the area dean.
Position Salary: The initial maximum salary placement is based on academic degree, units earned, and/or professional experience (initial placement is Class V, Step

Typical Duties: Teaching courses such as IMMT 120, IMMT 220, IMMT 230, which may vary by campus. Refer to the Programs and Majors webpage for a complete list.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any bachelor’s degree or higher with two years of professional experience, or an associate degree with six years of experience; all from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated focus on equity, responsiveness, and understanding of diverse backgrounds of community college students.
- Degree titles must match the minimum qualifications exactly, or submit equivalency documentation.
