Physician, Obstetrics-Gynecology Hospitalist (Sacramento, CA) Opportunity Information

  • Be a part of an exciting new opportunity with Sutter Sacramento OBGYN Hospitalist Program!
  • Responsibilities will include shifts on the L&D managing births in collaboration with Certified Nurse Midwives and OBED shifts managing no doc patients, GYN procedures and GYN surgeries. In addition, our hospitalists work collaboratively with local community physicians who deliver re are two hospitalists in-house 24/7 and one midwife. A backup OBGYN is also available. Full‑time equivalence is thirteen 12‑hour shifts per 28 days.
  • More than one OBGYN hospitalist on duty in a shift (L&D/ED)
  • Guaranteed 12‑hour shifts—day and night.

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) is a vibrant and talented community committed to delivering safe, affordable, and high‑quality care. Our multi‑specialty medical group is comprised of over 1,600 clinicians practicing in seven counties in northern California, most within a 50‑mile radius of Sacramento.
