DIRECTOR OF CHILD ABUSE PEDIATRICS - CAP

Position Highlights

  • Ideal Practice: 50% Inpatient CAP with flexibility to focus on area of interest including Medical Director of CAARE Center, academic time, practice in area of interest, etc.
  • Professional Growth: Join a team of experienced CAP providers and mentorship from current CAP Director ensuring a smooth transition
  • Support & Networking: Strong network of CAP colleagues for continued mentorship and support
  • Partnership Opportunities: Option to participate in Foster Care Clinic outpatient pediatric primary care
  • Academic Involvement: Teach and mentor medical students, residents and fellow

Compensation & Benefits
:

  • Competitive Base Compensation:$250K - $350K based on AAMC regional benchmark, rank, and series

Qualifications
:

  • Degree:MD or DO accepted
  • Certifications:CAP Fellowship Trained and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Licensure:Must be in possession of or eligible for a CA medical license
  • Experience: Inpatient child abuse consultations, coordination with child protective services, law enforcement, and social work, and providing expert testimony when needed. Familiarity with current guidelines and continuing education in child abuse pediatrics.
