What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be willing and able to:

  • Provide direct medical care to patients in underserved communities, including physical exams, medication management, and referrals to other medical providers.
  • Build relationships with patients and work to understand their needs.
  • Connect patients to other resources in the community, such as housing, food, and employment.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and work to improve the quality of their lives.
  • Participate in outreach and education activities to raise awareness of the health needs of patients in underserved communities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports.

Eligibility

Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week
, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Compensation Disclosure

MD/DO: $212,160 - $275,808 annually & NP/PA: $131,040 - $170,352 annually

Language Skills (Preferred)

Bilingual or multilingual communication skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish are preferred to support the needs of the communities we serve, where more than 50% of patients report a primary language other than English.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner:

  • Current California RN/NP/NPF License.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner board certification.
  • At least 1-2 years of clinical experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
  • Current BLS and DEA certification
  • Bilingual in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish speaking preferred

Physician Assistant:

  • California Physician Assistant License
  • Physician Assistant Certificate
  • NCCPA board certification
  • At least 1-2 years of clinical experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
  • Current BLS and DEA certification
  • Bilingual in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish speaking preferred

MD/ DO:

  • Must be board certified or eligible in Internal, Family Medicine, or Pediatrics
  • Fully licensed to practice in the state of California with no restrictions
  • At least 1-2 years of clinical experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
