The Treatment Coordinator is a key team member ensuring the patient receives their needed and wanted dentistry. The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that patients receive all information required for dental appointments including scheduling appointments, insurance verification, preparing treatment plans for future dental care, as well as addressing any patient concerns. Additionally, the Treatment Coordinator will assist with answering phone calls, greeting patients, and maintaining office appearance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a dental setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
• Current BLS certified
• Experience with EPIC Wisdom and/or dental scheduler preferred
• Experience with dental office billing
• Knowledge of government (Medi Cal) and non‑government payers for dental insurances.
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Must be able to educate parents and patients on the benefits of dental treatment
• Ability to present treatment plans and take financial payments
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet daily production targets
• Ability to show initiative and adaptability in the workplace
• Ability to plan and organize day and workflow
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, or Russian preferred
