The successful candidate will be willing and able to:
- Examine individuals requesting care, diagnose their dental/oral conditions, prescribe and carry out, or direct others in carrying out, appropriate dental/oral treatment, or refer individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines
- Educate individuals in the nature of oral health related conditions and in the general promotion of oral health related disease prevention
- Communicate with dental staff on our team regarding patient treatment plans
- Supervise the clinical work of the dental assistants and hygienists

Eligibility: Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week

Compensation Disclosure: $156000 - $202800 annually
The compensation range listed reflects Elica’s good-faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range for this position in accordance with California pay transparency requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and qualification.
Language Skills (Preferred): Bilingual or multilingual communication skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish are preferred to support the needs of the communities we serve, where more than 50% of patients report a primary language other than English.
Requirements- Candidate must be board certified or board eligible and licensed to practice medicine in the State of California
- Practice medicine in the State of California
- Current, valid and unsuspended State of California medical licensure.
- DEA X-license required (waiver)
- Current CPR certification required
- At least 2 years experience working with underserved, low-income persons or homeless persons preferred.
- Current, standard dental practices, treatments, and tests
- Current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches in area of expertise.
- Cultural sensitivity and a strong commitment to serve medically underserved families required
