Giannetti & Booms Orthodontics is hiring a full-time Orthodontic Clinical Assistant to provide hands-on support and help elevate the patient experience. Our Orthodontic Clinical Assistant makes $23.00 - $30.00/hour (depending on licenses and experience). You'll usually work from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday with a one-hour lunch break. We'll invest in your career by providing a mentorship program

No two days are the same for our Orthodontic Clinical Assistant! You'll be responsible for helping the doctors, following directions, and treating every patient kindly and respectfully. An uplifting attitude is a must as you:

• Greet patients, answer questions, and provide tips for at-home dental care
• Assist doctors with braces and aligner appointments
• Sterilize equipment and prepare rooms between appointments
• Take x-rays, intraoral scans, and other diagnostic images
• Collaborate with your team to make every day at our practice a great one!

• X-ray certification, OA certification,
  or RDA license (or currently be in the process of obtaining one)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to connect with patients and help them feel at ease
• Ability to float between our Sacramento, West Sacramento, and Davis offices
• Adaptable and helpful team spirit
• Genuine love for the dentistry field and a real desire to help others

• 2+ years of orthodontic assistant experience
• Knowledge about dental/orthodontic terminology
• Experience using dental software like Dolphin or Ortho2
